Please call if you need to talk. It's ok to call me at home also, Betty. Let me know if I can help.

Talena was a very beautiful girl! I've been trying to put a collage together for her memeroial and I find myself just looking at her pictures in just disbelieve that she is no longer with us. Even though we in the Holland area didn't see much her, I'm sure we will all miss her like she was next door to us everyday.
Talena, I will miss you!
Love, Aunt Jill

The very first time I met Talena, she stole my heart with her spunk, wit and enthusiasm. Seeing her on a visit to Floria in October really raised my hopes for a speedy recovery. Then all those hopes were taken away last Friday. The only consolation is that she is in a better place without suffering and pain. We all love her and will miss her tremendously. All our love.

I keep going back to this. I see her face on television, in crowds at the mall, I think about our lives and how they were so parallel to each other. Talena was a piece of me. And always will be.

Here it is almost a month later, and still hard to believe that Talena is gone. I didn't see her much, but wish now, more than ever that I could see her again. I know that one day, I will.
